A Blessed Thanksgiving

We are only one week away from the biggest shopping day of the year.  After eating turkey and dressing and visiting with family, it's time to get started on our Christmas Gift List.  A Blessed Thing wants to give our shoppers plenty of reasons to logon to our store on Black Friday, to get some great deals on gifts that will be a blessing to whoever receives them.  Starting Monday November 22nd - Friday November 26th, I will be releasing one new video each day to highlight products from the store that will make your Christmas giving a breeze.  I will even have some products that will be brand new to the site.
Then starting on Black Friday November 26 - Monday November 29 we will offer "FREE SHIPPING" on all orders as well as 15% OFF with the coupon code to be given out on the upcoming videos. You do not want to miss this opportunity to save on some great gifts for Christmas.

As Thanksgiving approaches, I want to encourage each of you to truly reflect on what you are thankful for.  For alot of folks it has been a tough year financially or perhaps even the loss of a loved one but if you really look at your life, you will see areas that God has brought you through, you will see family and friends who have loved and stood by you. I suggest that you savour every minute of your life and this Thanksgiving give thanks to the Lord for all He has done for you, and all the great things He is planning for your future.

Happy Thanksgiving From A Blessed Thing,

Stephanie

The Blessing of Today

We here at A Blessed Thing are gearing up for the Holiday Season and have added our Christmas Items to the store.  You will find all kinds of great decorations, gift ideas and maybe even a little something for you. We will also be adding new Christmas items every week  through December 13th. so, stop on by each week and check out our new items.

We seem to rush through life living everyday just to make it until tomorrow, all the while missing out on the blessing of today.  Our days seems to go like this:  Wake up ( mostly too early) eat a bite of breakfast and perhaps sip a cup of coffee on the way to work.  Drive to work and hopefully it is only a short distance but for most people about 30-45 min. and while they are driving try to avoid being hit, run over or sideswiped by all the other drivers trying to get to work just like us. Get to work on time,  if there hasn't been a backup today which for most freeway drivers is at least twice a week.  Make it through the day at a job that you either can't stand or tolerate because you really need to be able to eat. Once the day is over, head back out in the traffic, get home, eat dinner, go to bed. UGH! I hope your days are not like this.
What your day should look like:

Wake up and pray for the Lord to Bless your day and give you favor.

Play a Christian CD or Christian radio while you get through traffic or just spend more time talking to the Lord.

When you get to work, thank God for your job and that he will promote you and lead you into the positions that you should have but be content in the state that you are in.  Do your work as unto the Lord.

Once you get home make it a point to relax for some time before bed, go for a run, a walk or read a good book or the Bible.

Go to bed once you have thanked the Lord for the day that He gave you.

Don't miss the blessings of everyday just trying to make it through til the next. Look for beauty of the master's hand in the sunrise, sunset, trees, laughter, a friend, family and that the Lord just loves you so very much.
